In support action of implementing the activities of agriculture producers and the Citizens Councils in Palilula Municipality, president Boban Dzunić visited with his associates and Sasa Stojiljkovic, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, City of Nis, Pasi Poljana village. In this populated area of Palilula, the works on construction of planned country - field roads with length of about 2000 meters are being realized. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Board of Agriculture and Rural Development of the City of Nis, at the beginning of this year Palilula, 13 km country -filed road routes have been adapted.

The second tender provided that during the October-November months will be completed another 12 kilometers of rural roads. According to president Dzunic with "Strategic development plan of the Municipality," as one of primary tasks is specified the activities on thevillages revival, of which in the future is expected to be the basis for sustainable development of Palilula and City of Nis. The importance of this road is safer coming to arable land and pastures, that in Palilula spread over an area of about 7,750 hectares. Of these 6,648 hectares are arable land and 747 ha of pastures.

"The proposal to construct country road roads in Palulula gave the inhabitants of 15 villages in this area. This plan included the villages Lalinac, Krušce, Mramor, Mramorski Potok, Novo Selo, Cokot, Gornje Medjurovo, Donje Međurovo, Bubanj Selo, Pasi Poljana, Donje Vlase, Gabrovac, Berbatovo, Vukmanovo, Suvi Do. Milivoje Mitic, President of the Council of citizens Pasi Poljana village, pointed out that in this settlement, with the support of municipal management of Palilula, in the last two years, has been realized many infrastructure projects. Field road in Pasi Poljana will connect it with Malosiste, New Cemetery and highway to Skopje.

By the end of this year, as Sasa Stojiljkovic, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said, in Nis, will be built country network of roads with a total length of 40 km. The value of this investment, for which the funds were provided from the Republic and the City budget are 30 million dinars. Palilula management regularly takes into account the needs of the population involved in agricultural production and makes every effort to improve this economical sphere.
